I have a full normal book that would yield 20k Rep for a Rank.

I was wondering, that if I turn in the book at a 79k Faction, will my faction become 99k? or will it become stuck at 80k?

Should go to 99k, as the "rule" is you can't hand em in over 80k, not "You can't raise your reputation above 80k from normal mode"

Yes it works that way. That's how I farmed up my points. 79999 turned in a normal mode book went to 99999. Then HM rest of the way.

Yup, that is what I did, turned my books in when I got close to the 80k mark so they jumped up to around 99k. (however many I had +20k)

As long as you don't exceed the cap... which is rank 8 I believe... then you jump to accourdingly. I can also confirm that you do not get cut off at the cap for normal books. It is a good idea, btw, and saves you time.

Turned mine in at 79K and it shot me all the way up to level 9

One normal mode book at 79K and then 2 Hard Mode books will max out the title completely
